Australian Man Timothy Wax hostage by the Taliban converted to Islam
A 52 year old English teacher converted to Islam who is an Australian man name Timothy wax. This story has impresses alot of people over internet that how he got inspire and Impress from Islam. And then he converted to Islam after hostage by taliban. So lets have a look!
A man name Timothy Wax was an English teacher in Kabul University. He was born in Australia famous city Wagga Wagga. He reach to Afghanistan in year 2016. While He want to publish some English Books for officers of Afghanistan. On 9th august a man from taliban kidnap him along with his friend. While they escape out from the main entrance of the university. The man’s name was Kevin King.
While to find them both US forces searches all the places in country to retrieve them. But they were failed. While Timothy and his friend doesn’t know about Afghanistan and this country more. Also they only know about Afghanistan what his grandmother told him. While he started configuring and changing in mindset when he spend one month with Taliban.
He shared in one of his interview with BBC that “I want to do something for the education of people of Afghanistan especially for woman and girls if Taliban allow him giving permission”. He confesses that after becoming a Muslim, hatred and ridicule based on religion was committed in Australia. Which is a crime under the law, but nothing was done to those who slandered me and used inappropriate language.
Also he shared that when his relationship with taliban improve so I asked them for some books to read. Taliban gave them other religious books, including the English translation of the Holy Quran. He is the second Westerner to enter the realm of Islam in Taliban captivity.
